During the last three months I searched for a new project. I hoped to obtain a larger XPages development project. But in short, there are no projects. Even \u201enormal\u201c Lotus Notes development projects does not exist anymore, or are extremly rare (and you don’t want to know their daily rates…).<\/p>\n
It is the same procedure as every year. But it’s getting harder. Year by year.<\/p>\n
In the last years, I always hoped that Lotus Notes is not dead. But the tribal wisdom of the Dakota Indians, passed on from generation to generation, says that, „When you discover that you are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount.“. I have ignored this simple wisdom for a long time, but now it’s time to move on. To leave the game on top (as an IBM Champion) is the the best I can do now.<\/p>\n
